Today was a very special day in Room 7. Every child was presented with their very own, free, picture dictionary! These dictionaries were provided by the wonderful people at
Rotary. The dictionaries are amazing and Room 7 says a big "THANK YOU!".
Miss Henriksen (Principal of Matamata Intermediate) visited our class with Mr McKenzie and Mr Farmilo from Rotary. All three shared their love of reading and learning and made us promise to use our dictionaries all the time - just try to stop us! Mr Eldridge also joined us, as did Laura from the paper. Wow, it was an action packed morning and after everyone had left we sat down and enjoyed reading our valuable gifts.
